i really want to cosplay matsuda. the only thing that's stopping me from that..is...well basically everything!! last night i was playing around with my hair trying to get that random square of no bangs on my forehead, (i dont know how to explain it haha) like matsuda. i can post a picture later, but i can't now, i have to go in a minute. any tips on how to get my hair like that? or a link with cheap matsuda wigs would be great - i couldn't find any, though, so good luck. also, the blue suit - i tried ebay, but when i saw something i thought was decent, it was around $150!! i'd be willing to spend at the most 50 or so dollars. links to blue suits like matsuda's would be great. thanks!!!

Thrift shops are BEATUFIUL things, Mastu-chan. Goodwill, Salvation Army... help a good cause, get cosplay stuff cheap.
Perhaps you ahve a relative who has one that they don't wear anymore? I don't know.
Besides wigs, hair dye is an option. Not permenant, of course, just stuff for a day or two. Look into that as well, and just keep playing with your hair until you get it right.
Also, bring a briefcase. It'll help you carry con-stuff (like the all-important maps and schedules!) and completes the cosplay.

For hair, just go to Party City; they have hairspray, which is very convinient and looks better than wigs (not as good as dye or natural colour, but it comes out easy).
The outfit should be pretty simple, and relatively inexpensive. Blue slacks, white dress shirt, brown tie, and blue jacket; that's really all you need. The jacket might be more expensive if it's gonna be nice, though.

Ahhhhh, Party City. Wonderful place. ^^
Also, you could try Charelle's in Frederick (remember, that place I told you about? The people who made the Yuki Cross cosplay? There). You might be able to put an order in there, but I don't know what the cost would be.

Hair gel. And hair spray. And bobby pins are beautiful things. No lie. Also, just past the mall (FSK) there is a Popeyes. Just past that, there is a Goodwill. When I cosplayed as Movie Ed from Fullmetal Alchemist, I got everything there. Except the overcoat, which I got at Value City. Which is now gone. D:
